Has anyone heard of Bob Krop?

Hello all, I am looking for info on a pitcher named Bob(Robert) Krop. He pitched in the minors for 7 seasons 1958-1964 (3 seasons in AAA), never made it to the bigs. He is a second cousin to me and I would like to know more about him. I found a couple of pictures of him in a Reds uniform with the numbers 19 and 33 on his jersey.

There are several pictures for auction on ebay from a Reds 1961 spring training. The person selling the photos does not know who is in the pictures. Can anyone here possibly identify them?

I would like to possibly purchase them, but only if I know who is in the pictures.

Thanks in advance.

I'd troll the papers in the towns that he played ML ball for, but here's another photo

Re: Has anyone heard of Bob Krop?

Thanks for the reply. I found that photo as well. I looked him up on the newspaperarchive.com website and found a few articles, but they were just a brief mention.

I was still wondering about those photos on ebay. I wonder if anyone on here could identify the players in the pictures. I recognized a couple, one being Jim O'Toole.

I found out he played the the HOFr Tony Perez in 1963 while on the Macon Peaches, a year after Pete Rose was on the Macon team in '62.
