If I could have any FA off that list it would be Tom Gorzelanny...

I'd take Kelly Johnson - of course, I don't have to pay him.

Re: Available remaining free agents

Some names on there I am surprised to still see available. One thing I'd like for the Reds to consider would be a strong defensive outfielder for the bench, but I think Heisey will probably end up being their only spare outfield coming out of spring training.

Oh come on now, don't you all want the Reds to take a flyer on Carlos Zambrano?

Me too. I thought the swimsuit model were the free agents being talked about in this thread.

Agreed.

Having Ryan Sweeney in camp to compete for the fifth OF spot wouldn't hurt either.

Re: Available remaining free agents

Abreu if he's cheap and he should be, would be a great lefthanded bat off the bench.

I wouldn't mind Kelly Shoppach to be this year's Dioneer Navarro.

I wouldn't be surprised if Francisco Liriano somehow wound up in Goodyear. Walt was said to be in on him at the deadline last year. Liriano is left handed and has a pulse, what more do you want?
