New Netflix Original Series.

Watched all 13 episodes they released over 3 days.

Great stuff, great cast.

Anyone check it out?

I'm gonna check it out eventually. I was surprised to see the community rating for it is only 2 1/2 stars...

I sort of wish it had been about something other than politics. Politics sucks enough right now in real life, I think lots of people have lost interest in dramas based around it.

It is in my queue, but I haven't tuned in yet.

Finally watched it about a week ago and I am hooked. It's such a great show. Can't wait for the entire second season to be released on February 14.

It took me about 4-5, Doug, but I thought it really got good after that. If you are willing to give it a few more episodes, I'd encourage you to do so.

Kate Mara. Should be reason enough to continue, Dougie.

If Season 1 was the improbable rise of Frank Underwood being the smartest guy in every single room, I'm hoping Season 2 is the agonizing fall.

That first episode was... Unexpected.

Every show is better when one of the McPoyles shows up.

I watched a bunch of it late night. This show is really good.

I'm on the second episode of season 2. I had trouble getting used to Kevin Spacey talking to the camera, but with only 13 episodes in a season, I stuck with it, and it was worth it. His character keeps getting more and more over-the-top evil, but, like the asides, I guess this is appropriate given that Spacey's doing Richard III.

And therefore,–since I cannot prove a lover,
To entertain these fair well-spoken days,–
I am determined to prove a villain,
And hate the idle pleasures of these days.
Plots have I laid, inductions dangerous,
By drunken prophecies, libels, and dreams,
To set my brother Clarence and the king
In deadly hate the one against the other:

I did. Season three can't come soon enough.

Did the ending seem too convoluted to anyone else? If the makers of HOC wanted to provide reasons for events that took place, I thought they would be a little more "shocking"

really generic spoiler ahead. So generic it doesn't matter.

Finished season 2 yesterday. Good drama, but there were quite a few moments that didn't ring true for me. In the end, I wanted to see more blowback from the murders. Looks like they've set that up for next season.

I really enjoyed this season but at the beginning I felt as though there were too many things happening at once, a little confusing at times. But I really enjoyed it and cannot wait for season three.

The avalanche of positivity surrounding this show made me decide to give it a try after all.

Ended up marathoning seasons 1 and 2 over the course of a week or so and wow is it excellent. On par with anything put out on television anywhere else.

Really interested to see how Spacey takes care of business moving forward.

I'm in the same boat. I can see why people would like it as there's quality acting in it but I couldn't get into it. Conspiracies around education bills don't really cut it for me as far as entertainment goes.

Yeah, if there's one thing this show can get bogged down in, it's trying to make massive, lives-at-stake drama over relatively small pieces of legislation. God forbid somebody try to introduce a healthcare bill on this show... half the House would wash up on the shores of the Potomac.

That said, I'll give it credit for being ahead of the curve as far as political issues go. Trade wars, the deep web, and sexual assault are definitely issues I expect to hear more about in the coming years.

I finished Season 4, which was far and away better than Season 3. I hate that I now have to wait an entire year for the next season, but it is what it is. It was a nice escape from the current political reality, though truth and fiction don't seem to be that far apart anymore.

That last episode would have been over the top not long ago, not to get political but that doesn't seem far fetched for a certain orange faced, yellow wigged, tiny fingered....never mind. I'm not talking about anyone.
