I like Cozart and I threw up in my mouth when I saw him in the two hole but then I looked the options with what names are being run out there.....

Phillips' absence shouldn't affect the two hole. Heisey has been hitting second and still could have.

Dusty obviously has taken note of Heisey's two hole performance so far and decided to switch him with Cozart.

Not a great lineup without Ludwick and Phillips. Let's hope some of the other Reds swing the bat tonight.

Like OBM stated.....Cozart swings at ball 3. It is not just that either....the ball is almost going to hit you, therefore it is inside...and you need to try and at least move the runner over...so you swing at it on a 2-1 count? Cozart...seems to be another young Reds hitter who has not been taught the situation going on in front of him and what he needs to do there.

Frazier had a pitch to drive but he swung on top of it and tried to pull it.

And yet, coming in today, with RISP, the Reds have scored the 4th-most runs in the league (OPS+ 113 w/RISP.)

Leaving runners on is a byproduct of scoring lots of runs.

We all knew there was a good chance the staff wouldn't be as healthy as last season - but to have both Marshall and now Cueto (possibly) go down for an extended period of time hurts.

Latos/Bailey are going to have to step up to be the ace if Cueto is gone for a while.

Cingrani scheduled to pitch tomorrow for Louisville.

No offdays coming up, so they can't just slot him next start if he goes tomorrow. Depending on the Cueto news, it will be interesting to see if starts or not. Of course, given how decisively they've handled things this year, I imagine they'll let him make his next start and then pulling him after the first batter.

Looked to me like he aggravated the oblique.

No reason to throw in the towel on the season. Maybe we won't run away and hide with, or even win, the division, but we can still nab a wild card spot, worst case scenario. We don't know how long Cueto will be out. No reason to rush to conclusions and call it a lost year 10 games in. We will persevere.

Yes it looked like triceps. This team had such good luck last year with not one starter missing a start but I would be very surprised if Cueto doesn't end up on the DL

The cardinals managed last year with their injuries. Depth is going to come into play and they have at least a viable option in Tony. Depth is lacking though most other areas.

Simon is a mop up pitcher. Should have used Lecure for two innings. Simon gave up a terrible RBI single there on an 0-2 pitch. He threw it right down the middle.

At least take the time and trouble to waste a pitch.
