How do I change the thread title?

Hopefully the Reds can take 2 of 3 in NY.
Cardinals playing the lowly Padres.. would be nice not to lose ground, even though it's still early in the season.

ProfessorTofty

Yeah, the Mets may seem like an easy team to beat, but it'd be great to hold on to ground against the Cardinals for the division lead, or even improve.

As well as Jack has hit, you'd think he'd find him an occasional start. I suppose you need to hit 209 like Rolen or Cairo to warrant starts.

Baseball is hard, but you make it harder when you stick an automatic out between your two best hitters every single night.

Also, I'm sure the specter of having to face a monster like Cesar Izturis or (be still my heart) Zack Cozart is going to stop a team from using their left-handed specialist to face Choo and Votto. I mean, repeat that to yourself. It's absurd.

I agree...but he really doesn't have a ton of options that he likes. Simply put, he does NOT want to group together his weak hitters. He does not want Cozart, Hanigan and the pitcher all grouped together. Take that factor into account, then design a lineup. One that has his power hitters hitting lower in the lineup, one that splits up his lefties somewhat. It's not as cut and dry as some here make it out to be.
