I came across some pictures I made at the 1988 All Star Game. This was before digital cameras and I only took a few from long range. It can kind of give you a small flavor of an All Star Game in Cincinnati.

I was on the field for the 2ndpicture, part of a high school bad, but I think I was more in right field hn this angle shows.

I think I have some otehr pictures of the band. I'll check them and see if its from another angle.
I just read Tom Brownings book,Tales from the Dugout. He said he was setting in LF for this game. He was probably close to me and I didn't realize it.

Thanks. I have no idea which one is me, but I know I'm down there. Tht brings back memories - it was so cool being on the field for the player intros - Sabo and Larkin and Danny Jackson and Boggs and Mattingly were the ones that I especially wanted to see

Thanks for posting them

I thought it was a great stadium when the knocked out the left field portion and installed grass. I like GABP of course, but they could have renovated Riverfront and saved the money, it was a great place to watch a game after they made those changes.
