I would certainly hope so. It was tough-sledding all night against Corbin (other than Bruce's bomb in the second inning).

I would like to see 11 hits, 4 BB and about 6 runs.....not 5 hits, 1 BB and 4 runs. It's a big OF in Zona, use it.
Will teams stop throwing Bruce that pitch upper knee high 4 inches from the edge of the plate, but on the plate? Hope not.
Would like Joey to get a couple days off from here to the break.

Dusty might have hit a righty for Paul. X doesn't hit lefties much. Now, after X fans, the DBacks are putting in a righty to pitch to Mesoraco. Mes doesn't hit righties much.
If he hits DRobinson for X, Dusty gets better defense in LF. However, the Zonas could have responded with a righty. DRob doesn't hit righties much.

Parra has a WAR of 3.8, Jay Bruce is at 2.5....which begs the question, WAR, WAR, what is it good for?
http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/batting/_/league/nl/sort/doubles/order/true
Looks to me like ESPN's war is offense only. And Parra is fourth in the league. Parra leads Bruce in many categories, but Bruce is way ahead of him in SLG and is also ahead of him in OPS.

Can Latos start on Tuesday?
Fangraphs wRC+, it's composite offensive stat, has Bruce and Parra exactly tied for 20th and 21st place in the NL among qualified hitters. Actually Dexter Fowler tied with them too.
WAR goes to Parra with big edge in fielding component. Both -1.2 in baserunning.

Another 1-2-3 inning, Latos dominant through 7.

The way that Arizona mixed their audio on their feed is really annoying. Any time a ball is hit the "cheering" becomes unbelievably loud.

Yeah....they mentioned last night Parra was 6/15 in SB...with several due to swing and miss hit and runs.

Next time people talk about how worthless relievers are, remember how you felt that last inning when Latos was pulled out of the game.
