Let's get 'em today, Rojos.

7/14 lineup: Choo 8, Robinson 7, Votto 3, Phillips 4, Bruce 9, Frazier 5, Cozart 6, Mesoraco 2, Cingrani LHP

Prefer Heisey over Robinson but just a slight preference as Robinson is fine but I prefer Heisey in LF and he's got some pop.

Yeah. Obviously I am a Robinson fan given my sig, but it's mostly because he is a local guy. I know he has his merits but he is what he is. Heisey has been smoking the ball lately and I would definitely prefer he be in the lineup.

Isn't it required that it be Puig considering the vote?

Don't think so, pretty sure it's strictly managers choice.
Of course he could pick Puig because of the vote, I guess that would be easy to justify. But man, would it ever piss off Marty, Paplebon and others.

The problem was that the sun was behind the clouds and it popped out while the ball was on the way down. WLW was talking about that. But yeah, sunglasses would've helped. Bad luck was on the timing of the sun coming out and then a bloop double to follow it.

Jeez, I didn't realize Frazier also gave up a bloop double, wasn't able to catch the bloop double from rightfield, and walked two guys while getting no calls from the umpire.

It happened, and it just so happened it got worse after it happened, we don't have to burn Frazier at the stake for it.

Setting aside the issue of how fair a judge your eyes are, the point still only makes sense if you're going to give the same analysis of games lost (or won) due to "bad luck" to the teams you want to compare the Reds against.

Frazier has been so "meh" that I wouldn't be surprised to see Scott Rolen join this team for the second half. Maybe all this rest is exactly what Scotty Roles needed. Sure sounded like he was having second thoughts about his retirement. Stranger things have happened.

Man, Welsh is annoying as hell today. Talking about what's wrong with Cingrani. Uh, he's getting squeezed? He was throwing a perfect game through 2 until Frazier lost a ball in the sun? Then Cingrani gave up a bloop double. Did I mention he's getting squeezed?

Welsh has not mentioned one time what an awful job the home plate ump is doing. It's fine if you want to be critical of Cingrani. But at least be balanced and show both sides. Mention the fact that he's gotten squeezed on about 5 calls.

Why does Frazier even use his right hand at all when batting? He should go up there holding the bat with just his left hand. You know he wants to.

Frazier has been so "meh" that I wouldn't be surprised to see Scott Rolen join this team for the second half. Maybe all this rest is exactly what Scotty Roles needed. Sure sounded like he was having second thoughts about his retirement. Stranger things have happened.

Reds got a 724 ops out of third last year.

Frazier at 730 this year.
