Am I the only one that now believes once a reliever has two injuries in one season that he is now Mejewski, Bray, Massett, etc. and we will never see an effective version of him again?

So much for patience by Brandon there. With runners on this season he's been great (about an .890 OPS and .312 AVG), but that was pretty impatient the way Liriano has been throwing balls tonight.

I noticed that too! Joey is such a disappointment. He should every hittable pitch for a HR.

Sorry for the sarcasm. I just think it is a little silly to pull one AB to show Votto's failures. Yes, he didn't connect on some strikes thrown there, but Soriano has not been an easy match up for left-handed batters.

There's certainly an argument for it, but when someone is dominating ALL hitters...I don't fret too much over handedness.

Really hope Brox is healthy and good soon! A reliever may be more important at the deadline than a hitter.

Man, if the Reds are really going to make the playoffs, there are a few guys in this bullpen I really hope get left off the roster. Not going to mention any names.
Umm, the Reds bullpen has been lights out lately, including setting a team record for consecutive scoreless innings. Not sure why anyone would have an issue with them right now.

After the 5-0 lead, it looked like we had a chance to have a fresher bullpen than the Pirates for games, 2 & 3; plus, with the 11-game road-trip ahead, it would have been nice to have a fresh start for the pen.
