Career 8 ERA in the Big

Carrer 4.5 ERA in the minors. Wish armando Galaraga was still down there

If given the choice between Reynolds or Galarraga to start the game tomorrow, you'd choose Galarraga?

Reynolds is having a better season in AAA than Galarraga, and it's not like Galarraga is an accomplished major leaguer.

I'd prefer letting Simon start, but using a bullpen pitcher to start a game is likely sacrosanct in the world of Dusty.

YOu are right, Armando is not a great option, but I still think better than Reynolds

Over the last 4/5 years, Armando has been just about on par as Aaron Harang in terms of ERA, Whip, and WAR.

Now, dont get me wrong, Harang is a horrid pitcher, but id rather him (or a pitcher like him) start a MLB game than a 29 year old with a 7/8 ERA and a 1.7 Whip

Injured most of the past several seasons, Reynolds is having a great year with Louisville. If you bothered to check you'd know that. He has been far better than Galarraga who was just traded for a decent bullpen prospect. Nothing at all wrong with a start for Reynolds. Reynolds major league line came while he was battling injury, btw.

Of course I looked it up. I am sure you said the same thing about Pedro Villareal back in April/May.

Not really. Villareal's season and career say mediocre. Reynolds was a high draft pick who is finally healthy. No comparison at all.
