I'll agree with the general premise that whoever is coaching 3B for the Reds creates outs routinely, but that play was entirely Choo's fault. If he would have ran hard without slowing he would have beat the ball by 2 steps. Even with him slowing, a slide would have had him in there.

Brewers' righties have the formula. Walk Choo, walk Votto, throw a lot of offspeed stuff at the Reds' free swinging righthanders. Frankly I don't see why Joey Votto wouldn't get 250 walks a season in this lineup.

Reynolds is getting a quick indoctrination of what it means to be a starter on this team. Not much offensive support.

I hope Ludwick is able to play every day soon because some of these guys just really can't hit this year. They really need every decent bat on the roster to be playing daily if possible.
