Hopefully much like Wainwright replicating his previous start, Homer can do the same, even if the offense doesn't give him 9 runs early.

And I'm surprised Molina is in the lineup. I know Cruz isn't much of an alternative, but do they really want to be using Molina this much going into the playoffs? His knee issues, now his wrist. Seems short-sighted to me.

Sorry for the gigantic picture of his Wang t-shirt.

Part Cincinnati's fault, part natural, part MLB's fault.

Tuesday night games once school has started have always been iffy for Reds.

And once September rolls around, people are thinking school/football/etc. I really think MLB could help itslef by modifying the caldendar in the future.

My tactic is buy tickets a month ahead of time and block off the calendar so my wife doesn't commit us to something else.

I get to 2-3 games a month. This annoying thing called a job gets in the way.

Homer can throw quite a few more pitches than Wacha can. 120 for Homer is no big deal.

And btw, after 6 full, Homer was at 89, Wacha was at 80. The difference is negligible.

So, how long do you go with Homer? 120? 130? 140? There's no one - including Chapman - in that bullpen that is going to throw as well as he is. Just for one night isn't going to hurt, is it?

No, you're not. On line...and he was toast IMO. But there's a reason it was off line. Molina rushed the throw because of Hamilton's speed. So the accuracy of the throw was affected just like a pitcher's delivery will be affected. His speed is that disruptive.
