Trade was agreed to. Just awaiting approval from Selig. Just Kinsler for Fielder straight up, no other players. Texas might get money.

Well that was quick and quiet...and takes away 1 maybe 2 of our Philips to ? teams.

I guess the Cardinals are no longer shopping in Arlington for a Short Stop.

On the + side, that is one less 2nd baseman available for the teams looking for one. May use more urgency to get a deal done. Urgency = Overpay

Did not see this coming. Interesting albeit a bit dangerous for both parties imho.

If Prince lost 50lbs he'd be MVP

If Prince lost 50 LBS. he would be healthier for sure. I think he will put up some nice numbers in Texas, but he still has to contend with Cabrera in Detroit, and Trout in LA. Not saying he won't or can't, I just think that is too much competition even minus 50 pounds.

A summer or two in Texas should help him drop some weight

Maybe not, better food and BBQ in Texas than Detroit!
