Classic day game after a night game spring training lineup. Reds must like what they see in Travis Mattair. He's not even a non-roster invitee, and he's getting a start.

Scoreless going to the bottom of the 2nd. Only hit so far was by Mes. Walk to Bernadina.

This one appeals to philosophical side of me.
I'm going to print this one out and put in on the bulletin board at my yoga classes, though!

Bernadina walks again, 2 on 2 out for Heisey in the 3rd.

I had hopes for Heisey a couple of years ago, but he's definitely a solid 4th outfielder, not a starter. Glad he's the Reds' 4th outfielder, though.
Cingrani went 3 hitless innings but Wang has given up 2 hits and runs in his 2nd frame. Still just 2 hits for the Reds. 2-0 Giants in the 5th
Wang recovered and went three. He gave up one more in his second inning but struck out 5 with no walks. Reds trail 3-1 going to the top of the 8th.

Spring training records and stats mean diddly squat because everyone is working out cobwebs and such. But mercy, why does it seem in ST all the other teams have all the kinks worked out and the Reds are the only ones with cobwebs? lol!
