In my area...not sure about Ohio.....I heard that Homer was scratched from today's start due to a bad groin.

Looking forward to seeing Braun's continued bashing. No drop off in his hitting in spite of being "clean"?? If he was this good without the steroids why was he taking them in the 1st place?

Frasier gets on and steals second, Luddy drives him in with a sharp single off the SS's glove and Hiesey goes deep. 3-0 still in the 1st

Brews get a run in the bottom of the 1st, Braun scoring after his scorched single

Soto and Negron get hits and Marshall scores them with a smash single. 5-1 still in the 2nd

Soto shows he can handle the fastball down the middle with ease --- HR to left

Let's hope Heisey doesn't use up his good karma in spring training:)

This dubaucle could be a foreshadowing of yet another miserable Brews season. I would love to see the Cubbies take 4th.

Frazier played SS in the late innings and committed an error. I'm guessing Price is looking to see if the Reds can go without a true backup to Cozart to start the season.

Marty & Kelsch were talking about Price wanting to get players reps at positions that aren't theirs normally, but I think the switch yesterday was more for Santiago to get some additional playing time at 3rd, while also keeping Todd in the lineup since he's going to be heading back home shortly for the birth of his child. I like that Price is moving some of the bench to some other positions, just in case, but I don't believe Frazier playing short is in the plans. I think Marty said he appeared in two games there in 2011, neither as a starter.

I just looked them up - one game had Ramon Hernandez PH'ing for Paul Janish on August 21st in a complicated 9th inning: Down 4-3, Frazier singled, Hanigan walked, pinch runner came in for him. Hernandez PH, singled, then Cairo PH for the pitcher. Somewhere in there, we took the lead. Bottom of the inning, Cairo to 3rd, Hernandez caught, Todd to SS and Paul came in for Ludwick. Todd did tag out a runner caught stealing. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/PIT/PIT201108210.shtml

Then five days later, again various switches against the Nats, in the 7th and 8th inning:
