Agreed... Phillips had a great RBI year, no reason he shouldn't be hitting 4th again. Then Votto needs to be dropped down a few spots in the lineup. Too many walks and not enough hits. For those getting mad right now calm down, I'm not serious.

If Hamilton gets on base this year, I expect Phillips to sneak a few more hits through the left side. He could end up around .300 again if things go well. GO REDS!

If Wainwright is dumping in easy first pitch strikes to get ahead, you swing at them and hit them hard like they did.

Hamilton's AB there is a perfect argument for the automated strike zone. Hamilton took a 1-1 pitch that missed, but Wainwright got the call from the ump. That left Hamilton swinging at a 1-2 that he probably takes if he's 2-1. One missed call completely changed the AB.

Yeah, right. Like the patience he showed at the called third strike, and the patience he showed standing at home plate while a double-play commenced.

No reason to knock anything Hamilton has done when the best player looks even worse.

I'm not saying that Votto has been playing wonderful. But we all know that Votto knows how to hit. But we don't know how the 22 year old will do at the plate. And when all he needs to do is get on base, he needs to learn patience and how to bunt. He hasn't done either well today. It's all I'm saying....
