I'm far from a fan of the Cards...but I don't HATE them. I save that for the Dodgers & Cubs.

I wasn't alive during the great Reds-Dodger rivalries from the 70's so I don't really hate them that much.

As far as the Cubs go, that's like hating the Cleveland Browns. Or picking on special needs children.

_Sir_Charles_
04-08-2014, 07:34 PM
It's a family thing. Our neighbors loved the Cubs. It just became more than a rivalry to us. 70's it was the Dodgers, 80's it was the Cubs...at least in my home. WGN probably had a bunch to do with it too. Cubs became so accessible to the masses...and their "fans" just fueled that hatred. I guess it's just me.

And just to be clear, the Cards hate is growing in me. It's not fully there yet...give it time. :O)

No. Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself. I love it when Molina comes to the plate because he still gets out more than he gets a hit. And boy is it enjoyable when he gets out.

I'm really hoping missing a few weeks of Spring Training is causing the slow start because we desperately need Homer to figure it out quick. Now the zone gets tight. Awesome.
