Broxton Activated, Bell Placed on 15-day DL

Hopefully Broxton can have a solid, healthy season for us.

Bell was put on the 15-day DL for "elbow inflammation" aka "you're out of options and pitching poorly so we'll put you on the DL".

I'm going to be cautiously optimistic with Broxton... Lord knows we need him.

I wasn't impressed with Bell. I thought Jumbo Diaz or Pedro Beato should have been given his bullpen spot, but I guess hindsight is 20/20.

I thought Bell had options, now I think the Reds DEF should have kept Beato.

On the pregame show, Price is saying that he hopes to get Broxton into the mix of things tonight, although it doesn't sound like he'll be immediately thrown into a save situation.
