I'll give Price credit for playing Heisey in RF (the obviously more important defensive position) and putting Ludwick in LF. That's something Dusty wouldn't have done.

EDIT: That was a massive brainfart hahahaha. Ludwick never plays RF. I'm an idiot.

I agree. Or Pena could have caught game two yesterday.

But probably with Mes catching 12 innings yesterday, Price felt rest was required for him this afternoon.

Why did Mes catch game 2 yesterday and thus become unavailable today? Guessing because he has a lot of experience catching Leake.

I don't know what the correct thing to do is - Bruce (looking past his early struggles) seems to hit lefties decently the past few years - but I do like to see a lineup full of RHB when facing a notoriously tough LHP.

It's talent. It's not like these guys are stupid or unable to be coached. They don't have the same ability to recognize pitches as Votto and all three have shown that throughout their career. Nothing is going to change that now.

Basically Cueto bunted and stood for a second so as to not run into the ball bunted right up in front of him. The catcher knocked into him attempting to field it and so Cueto was called out.

Cueto bunted the ball and it went straight down. He wasn't sure if it was fair or foul, but his back was to the catcher. The catcher dashes up to try to grab the ball and runs into Cueto's back. If Cueto tries to run to first, he'd run into the ball...he'd be out, correct? If he doesn't run, the ump's calling him out for interference. I have a feeling that Price doesn't know the rule there and it's hard for him to argue it. Just a guess.

Then it was the right call.

Think about it. If you let batters swing and let their momentum take them in front if a catcher so the catcher has to double pump or cant throw then you will see that on every hit and run or stolen base attempt.

Then it was the right call.

Think about it. If you let batters swing and let their momentum take them in front if a catcher so the catcher has to double pump or cant throw then you will see that on every hit and run or stolen base attempt.

It was a foul ball though.

What if a batter pulls a foul into the stands and stays still, and a catcher decides to chase after it to draw an interference call? Where do you draw the line?
