I like watching the AL West teams.

Its nice to throw their games on late since I'm a night owl.

thatīs the reason I donīt follow the West teams.. itīs too early for me (starts most time at 4am) because I couldnīt watch the end of some games because Iīve to go to "work" (university) ;)

Arroyo. I wish he were still a Red but time moves on.

I know they are big rivals but I like to watch McCutcheon and Molina. Both are tough as nails and play the game very hard.

I wish I could see Trout play more. I''m sure he would be favorite too.

My favorite players are those players that are truly great players, collectively: Pujols, Cabrera, Jeter, Pedroia, Ortiz, Puig, Stanton.

I like players where you can just look at them and their performances.... Those and other players that you don't need people explaining to you their greatness or value through sabremetrics...

I should have mentioned Papi, because I think he has the best hitting approach of anyone else in the game right now, bar none. I do deduct points from him because of his checkered past, though.

I agree but those are easy and nearly everyone likes them. I pick "favorites" for personality or plying quirks or the maligned grit. As a kid Art Shamsky was my favorite Red until he was traded. And Don Pavletich. Don't ask me why. I just liked them and they still bring back memories every time they're mentioned. On this team I love watching Frazier play because he just seems to have a lot of fun and joy playing. Pena has quickly risen up my list of faves too. I'd trade either one in the right deal and never blink though.

I've always loved watching Ichiro. He doesn't have much left in the tank but I'll be sad when he finally hangs them up for good.
