Never heard that before, and I think that is mistaken. My roommate in college was a HUGE Supertramp fan, and me Dire Straits. I think we would have shared this as a common thread...and we had very little in common.

Infidels is a great Dylan album with Knopfler and a rhythm section of Sly and Robbie. Could have been a classic except Mark had to leave early to go on tour and couldn't finish with the editing. For some reason Bobby left Blind Willie McTell and Foot of Pride off the final cut.

Knopfler's Wag the Dog! from the Wag the Dog sountrack is a fun listen, although I don't think that qualifies as Dire Straits.

He also did the sound track to "Local Hero". A hidden gem of a movie of the early 80's. A nice listen.

The way it stands now, if the Reds were going into the playoffs and arranging their rotation, Bailey would be my last choice as a starter. Cueto, Latos, Simon, Leake, then Bailey.
But since you normally need only 3 starters, Bailey would be in the bullpen.
