I'm too busy being annoyed at his repeated comments about Roark's pitch count considering it's only the first inning and Schumaker and Frazier both put good swings on the ball.

And I don't remember any HR's on Tuesday when the Reds scored 3.....

Well any team, even the Reds, can win any given night. But the Nats should sweep this with ease. They have the elite roster in the NL IMHO. 5th in runs scored, 1st in ERA. Consistent play, good coaching. I'm not listening, but Thom can gush a bit, they deserve it.

Sizemore threw up an atrocious 58 OPS+ in his age 27 season after 5 straight years over 110 OPS+. Very good.

However, he only played 33 games that year due to microfracture surgery, and obviously since then yikes.

I hope that's not the only precedent. Francouer also dropped off the edge of the earth at 28.

ah ok... it sounded a bit weird. perhaps I would do the same if I would live near cincinnati and go to a lot of games... for me going to a ballgame (the opponent and the standings donīt really care) is something exceptional.

Yes, and Hoover pitches multiple innings, which is tough for Chap/Brox if you want them available in the next game.

Also Hoover, I'd guess, has pitched in a number of non-essential situations.
