Age and maturity. That's the difference. Latos has better stuff IMO. But he needs to go through what Homer went through the past 2 years or so. Homer really took a step forward in terms of being able to let things go and not let them fester. He still has work to do on it as well, but he's leaps and bounds better at it than he used to be. Latos I haven't seen take any steps forward on that front yet.

Fister does that just as well as anybody. He's hitting his spots, mixing it up well....you do that and you'll find success against any team. The Reds are just making it even easier than it should be. But it's not ALL the Reds fault...some props need to be given to Fister too.

This is the approach I think they need to take. For this year this offense is just not going to consistently compete. But they need to make some moves to fix some of the holes that were not fixed last off season to get better for next year and beyond

Yeah, that was mostly tongue in cheek, but I think you see my point. A change of scenery, routine, mindset, coaching...it's almost to the point that this is what it'll take. Jay's had 1 hot streak all year long and it was for about a week. He's had some crappy luck early in the season but overall...wow. And I'm a HUGE, HUUUUGE Bruce fan.
