looking at Eovaldi's career so far he doesn't really have a great KO rate despite the heat. Wonder if he has one of those "hard but flat" type fbs? Control seems good so he seems fairly hittable despite throwing hard

Billy has been failing to make contact way too much of late.

He does go through some stretches where you wonder what his gamer plan is and swings at everything. He is definitely one hitter who striking out does hurt feelings because of his speed.

Should be runners on 1B and 2B with 1 out. Pena should have stayed at 1B

You think Pena should not have tried for 2 on that? Sorry I totally disagree - even a perfect throw almost didn't get him - that was sheer luck for the Marlins

Glad Pena went for two, it was off the wall, after all. I think Winters missed the call, third angle from first base side showed space between the glove and his helmet. If this was the NFL, the call would be overturned.

Btw, Winters was the ump who whined about the play at home getting overturned in game one. He's on my list.

great pick up by the reds. Has been nothing but an asset on the field and in the club house. Give's 100% that is all you can ask of a guy.

If Pena had simply stopped at first on that play, there would have been people crying about his lack of hustle. We've seen a lot of stupid plays on the basepaths from the Reds this year, but that wasn't one of them.
