The bottom of MLB and he and Cabrera are well below the rest.

Skip finds his way in at .595

Cozart can at least field it...Skip is rangeless and can't hit.

If you always lived up to the back of your baseball card....a lot of players would never lose playing time or even retire. Hopefully he can get two more singles today to vault himself over that prestigious .600 line.

In defense of Reds and Schumaker he has been a consistent OBP guy before this season. No power, but the Reds had the right to expect a .325-35 OBP off the bench. Hasn't worked out, but maybe he'll get it going.

Cozart is a real difficult case. Looks like a GG year at shortstop, whether he actually wins it or not.

Still, 550 to 600 PAs at .552 OPS is tough for any lineup in the NL.

Price argued that the reason to be aggressive on the as sparks is to make up for the team not hitting. But if the team isn't getting on base, how does getting thrown out on the base paths help?

Yeah the whole aggressive thing is nice in theory but getting burned over and over and over and over is just plain stupid. Price really needs to make an adjustment on his base running philosophy.

This is the same thing we at least expected from Jackie H....... at least SOME of what he used to produce.

Walt has to be the unluckiest GM in baseball to keep signing these guys as they are about to fall into the abyss. I mean even Wilson valdez got worse than before.

Only Miguel Cairo has worked out X 10 for him. Pena as well, although not as much but still good there.

Kind of like Indian Giver? Because the Indian gave so many things to the white settlers but then took it back from them, of course. I always thought it should be European Taker Backers

But that's kind of making an allegation/stereotype, so there's a negative connotation. The other is just saying "no chance."

"... in Hell" doesn't change anything. It means the same thing, no matter how it's put: "no chance."

Like I said, the term came from a period where the Chinese in the U.S. were not treated well, so maybe it should not be used because of that historic connection, but in and of itself, it's not derogatory toward a group of people now like the "N word" or other slurs. Price was talking to him last start after he ignored the runner scoring to argue with the ump.....Price walked in front of him in the dugout and said a few words and Latos then put his head down and tried to walk around him and Price had to move and put his hand on his chest to get him to listen.

The term "Chinaman" is just outdated, I agree.

But "Chinaman's chance" comes from the fact that when building the railroads, all the dangerous work was given to the Chinese immigrants, since they were considered expendable. I find it offensive. But your milage may vary.
