I just can't fathom how Ludwick and Mesoraco can't play first base. Luddy is 6'3 and solid with his glove....zero, ZERO (Thom voice) doubt that Ludwick can play first. Meso is a good athlete and I just don't believe that he can't play first.

Price gives Heisey starts in head scratching instances but needing a fill in for a start he's a career .412 hitter and 1.206 OPS at Coors Field. If you were ever going to start him out of dire need.... You'd think it would be tonight.

Again, I'd much rather Skip be at first.
