This may be the best lineup I have seen in well over a decade. Dylan Axelrod is lights out.

The Cubs should just forfeit!

I know someone already said this... But Coghlan is a pain... That was 11 pitches.

So, I'm not watching, just gameday, so someone correct me if I am wrong.

Baker has no arms. none. it seems the ball hits him in the chest and he uses his nose to nudge it back to the pitcher.

That is the only explanation i can come up with for 6 stolen bases in 4 innings.

It's actually much more on Arrieta than Baker. Most of the stolen bases were essentially already stolen by the time the ball reached home plate.

I think enough is enough with Bruce, he needs to be rested for awhile. He needs to work with somebody and get back to hitting basics.

Bruce's ground ball rate is way up, which often happens when you swing at bad pitches. Plate discipline numbers are much worse than usual. Swinging at balls, taking way too many strikes.

Guy just struck out five times in one ballgame, I think it's time to give somebody else a chance and let Jay rest and work on his game in practice.

Bruce's 5 strikeouts today were the 5th time that a player has struck out 5 times in one game this season.

The others included Choo, CarGo, Nolan Reimold, and I believe Baez.

He joins Pete Rose, Eric Davis, George Foster, Deron Johnson, and Adam Dunn, as a Reds' player to have that distinction.

This was another chapter in a very unusual season that this has been for Bruce.
