Here's the lineups. Guess that's it for Yorman and Lutz. This is Irish Heritage Night at GABP. You get to hand over all your green (backs) to the Reds.

I am a big proponent of giving your best players the most at-bats but it's pretty much a non-issue right now. Bourgeois had a nice game yesterday, would be fun to see if he and Billy could get on and wreak havoc on the basepaths.

Shouldn't overstate it, though, both teams still have 19 games to lose afterwards.

To me that's 100% on Frazier. Right in front of him.....soon as Lagares planted successfully without bobble, Todd should've planted and scrambled back to 1st

Probably, but in the moment Frazier is probably think he can pick his pocket. It was kinda dumb, but I side with Welsh. With a struggling offense, I'm fine with pushing a bit. Not like it really matters anyway.

I bet if Hoover, LeCure, and Ondrusek were on other teams, they would.

Ugly stuff.

You guys are pretty hard core to hang in there with this turd of a game.

I stopped by. Wish I had not. If wholesale changes are not made, it's going to be a lonely ballpark in 2015.

this team needs another return of Rose... just like 1984.. becuse fans are not going to be buying tickets fior this mess in 2015 if major moves are not made. plus Rose would demand Bob get better players too..

but -- as I said -- he may have another chance at the Reds ---

He pitched Aug 3rd (his final start as a Marlin) allowed 9 hits, 2 BB and 5 ER in 4 inn....on Aug 27th for the Cubs he went 3 2/3 allowing 7 hits, 2 BB and Reds scored 6.

7 2/3 inn
16 hits
4 BB
11 runs

He could throw a no-hit shutout and still have a bad year vs the Reds

This team is the same one that won 90 games last year. The reason Price is giving away wins is 33 one-run losses. Bad judgment. Playing the kids means losing and no one wants to see losses regardless of the position in the standings.

Playing the kids means we won't lose 14-3? Or is it 17-3 now? Maybe they scored a touchdown and went for two and its 22-3. Who knows. No one is watching.

He didn't play the kids tonight and the other night the kids had rallied from down 7 and then the regulars came in to lose it.

Say that this team is not the same team as last year's version.

You know there are more differences with this team than who spends the whole game in the dugout.

I know there is frustration, but you are better than being one of the banana phone callers who visit this place in times like this.

Very frustrated, but making things worse is not the answer. There is little talent in the minors, that's evident.

There is talent, it's just at AA or lower for the most part.

A good example that helps me keep calm is Boston, they let Ellsbury and Drew walk, tried their younger players at CF and SS, and it didn't work out for them. They have had their share of injuries too, and misses in the free agent market, but they have money to throw at the problems they have.

The Reds need to be creative to fix theirs. The last time they had a losing season, Castellini found some money, and Jocketty acquired, Latos, Marshall, Ludwick, and Madson(darn injuries), while going with other changes in the bullpen and bench.

I have faith they can find a new LF, maybe SS, will have a good idea if Bruce can rebound, and make the necessary changes to the bullpen and bench again.
