I hate it when Ramsey uses the twitter handles instead of the player names. it is hard enough remembering who some of these guys are in ST without having to decipher the handle too.

That was a good cut by Hamilton, although I'm always conflicted when he hits the ball in the air.

Spring Training or not that HR from Billy was impressive. Smoked that ball.

Right, like did he get to make a home run trot before or after his 20 push ups?

I understand the desire to have him hit it on the ground in order to use his speed. But I'd rather he hit the ball hard OVER the infield.

So what were the odds that Billy would hit the first Reds HR of the Spring (and not of the inside-the-park variety)?

Cozart grounds to the pitcher.
Negron lines to SS.

Anybody watching give us a little report on how DeSclafani looks?

Strikes me a lot like Leake. Seems to change speeds constantly to keep hitters off balance. No pitch speed on the telecast but that is the way it looked to me.

You can tell he changes speeds well, but hard to gauge what those speeds are.

Jim Day interviewed BP in the 2nd inning, and wow, BP lost at least 15 pounds. Says he stopped lifting weights, and did more swimming. Wanted to get back to his rookie season weight.

Btw, the interview was hysterical. BP in full standup comedian mode, making fun of Day, himself, and of course, promoting his swag :)

Holmberg gives up three straight 2 out singles to tie the game. Then he walks a guy to load the bases. He gets 2 strikes on these guys and can't put them away. Finally he gets a guy to ground into a force at 2nd. 2-2 end of 6.
