How has Ervin looked this spring?

I know it's still early and Cozart is hitting .308 (no walks) -- but Suarez's stats .364/.417/1.235 should be noteworthy -- have to wonder if he has a chance to push himself onto the roster. I'd want him starting or at AAA but I'm getting hopeful he's the answer

It's only 11 ab's...I wouldn't put much stock into those numbers at all to be honest. Cozart has 13 ab's.

I'm certainly not saying 11 AB's mean much - but he's not tanking -- he's done well at AAA before and he didn't do too bad at Detroit last year - so there is more evidence than 11 ab's --- would be great to see a SS that could do better than next to last in all of baseball (IIRC Cozart's numbers last year)

Suarez with another hit and his 5th RBI --- just saying --- but he just made an error ---

2nd error of the spring so far, though

How rock solid is Mike Leake?

had to step away -- but the score is 5-1 Reds --- and it's in the 5th and Leake didn't give up the run

So far Ferrell looks better in LF for the D-Backs than Dunn looked for the Reds ;)

I saw him make a really bad error on a routine play in an earlier game. It was one of those games Badenhop gave up some runs. But he would have gotten out of the inning unscathed but not for that error. Hopefully he's better than that and that was just a fluke. Reds could really use just a little pop at SS.
