Lorenzen, to me, appears poised to redefine the bowling position as we know it.

He pitches fast, hard balls accompanied with wit, vigor and valor heretofore unseen by these virgin eyes.

Lady Luck rides shotgun on his covered wagon as he is blessed enough to have the crafty, beguiling veteran Jason Marquis to serve as tutoré.

At least once a week, Price proves the he is totally clueless about managing a bullpen.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. Are you saying he's screwing it up today? I think it's done correctly today thus far. Of course the pitchers aren't helping that argument with the BB's.

No way Cingrani pitches the 8th. This is Bryan Price we're talking about here.[/QUOTE]

Perhaps he shouldn't have? Not a good start for Tony C this inning.

Cingrani should be used often at the setup guy/fireman. Using him in the 6th is a waste. Also, not using him often only makes it more difficult for him to be successful.

Used hoover, Cingrani and Diaz...our 2nd, 3rd and 4th best relievers. Not the order I'd have chosen, but I'd put the runs on our hilariously bad bullpen more than the use of it. Although both are bad.

Price did not cost us the game at all. First off, it's not over. Secondly, it was the pitchers failure to throw strikes that caused the problem. Didn't matter what inning you throw them in...if they walk 7 guys, no manager is going to look smart.
