Price seems to be reluctant to move Hamilton out of the leadoff spot because he doesn't want to damage his confidence. In general, Price seems to care more about his players' feelings than the team's performance.

That kind of approach will get you a lot of, "He was a good manager, a nice guy" quotes after you're fired.

I like Zack right where he is. Just because a player is hot, don't try to put a round peg in a square hole. Cozart is NOT a top of the lineup kind of hitter. Never has been, never will be. Just enjoy his good play and leave him alone IMO. Joey should be hitting second though...or first.

I bowl a lot in competitive leagues, and you learn quickly not to take losses too hard and not to get too up for wins. These guys at the major league level are all really, really good. On both teams. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. And sometimes, it rains.

It's possible that Cueto and Leake are 1-2 in innings pitched in the NL this year. I say possible because Cueto was #1 coming into tonight. And Leake now has just a couple fewer innings than Johnny. Don't know what the other high inning guys have tonight, but all now have 7 outings.

Reds aren't going to give these two free agents too much rest. Leake went out tonight probably too tired to continue, or Price thought he was losing it.
