Oh yeah, I forgot Billy's hurt too. This season is going swimmingly.

I love Iggy though. He's been one of the few bright spots this year. I think the Reds found a gem when they signed him ... and have him for 5 years after this season at a relatively cheap rate. He looks like Orlando Hernandez with better stuff. Hello small sample size, I know. But I love what I see so far.

This is the earliest I stopped caring about a Reds team since the lost decades. My only area of interest at this point is in seeing how long Price lasts in his job, and how much he can continue to screw up this team.

I'm still interested in watching the young guys pitch and Votto hit. I like seeing Bruce continue to turn it around as well. But my interest in Wins and Losses has waned.

Fway tweets that Hamilton is fine physically but that he wanted to give Boesch and Schumaker consecutive starts.

I know Billy is stinking it up at the plate, but this is the kind of logic that had me pressing the "fire Price now!" option.

He hit a weak liner to 2nd.

That single to start the inning would have probably been an out with Hamilton out there. I'm on record as thinking Billy will never hit, but he is really a difference maker who is spoiling me on defense. It wasn't a terrible play by Boesch, but Billy's speed coupled with his ability to play more shallow takes away a lot of those kind of hits.

"The Reds wish, in a perfect world, they had a lefty in the rotation"- Chris Welsh. How about this world- Cingrani?

But, nah, our rotation is too full. Need room for Marquis' veteran presence.

It's not like Cingrani has exactly set the world on fire either. Still an upgrade to Marquis though.

Let's keep Boesch on the roster because he had a good spring training though.

Boesch striking out to end the game is fitting.

Boesch striking out to end the game is fitting.

Especially because it was a pitch in the dirt.

According to Cleveland broadcast, this is the longest losing streak the Reds have had in 6 years. Time to cut Price loose.

Last look at Mes was in the on deck circle while the horrible Brennan Boesch makes the last out. I hope Iggy and Lorenzen back to AAA, Boesch and Marquis DFA, Mes to the 60 day DL. Suarez, Selsky, Axelrod, Moscot and Contreras up.

The Reds are 3-9 since they released Kevin Gregg.

Perhaps he really did have The Will To Win.

It's important that Price gave Boesch two starts in a row.

The Reds OF has been one of the worst in MLB. The fact that the team had to "find a way" to get Boesch two starts in a row is pretty damning. If he's any kind of major league caliber player, he'd have taken the line-up by storm simply by being mediocre. Bruce is hot now and Byrd has his moments, but it seems like there have been a lot of opportunities to get Boesch more PT in match-ups and giving guys a day to regroup. The fact he's so seldom use is appropriate, because he's just not vey good.

Not on board for firing Price due to losses and some bad decisions. The team we have right now isn't that good to be honest.

But if they're just gonna mail it in and not care, that's why you fire Price. If the team isn't into it, you can't fire them all...so you fire the manager to send the message.

Even if Price is awful, the players need to have some pride. They're paid well to be professionals.

If you're gonna be terrible, at least try hard.

With two outs, and the bases-loaded, Votto fielded a hot shot, threw to first, but Hoover miss the ball. Two runs scored.

Thanks doesn't sound good.
