Well renowned tool bag Mark May has been removed from ESPN's College Football Final and replaced with Joey Galloway, as ESPN ushers in a whole new crew for the show, with Adnan Virk as the host and Danny Kanell coming aboard as well to replace Lou Holtz. It's not surprising this move has been made, because I think ESPN would like to forget as soon as possible all the crap Mark May was allowed to say on air for several years while trolling Ohio State. Buckeye fans will boo that man lustily any chance they get, and I have to imagine it was embarrassing for the company in January when they tried to host a show outside and struggled to speak over thousands of outraged Buckeyes.

It appears May has been moved to another show of lesser prominence in the ESPN/ABC family of networks, working with John Saunders and Mack Brown. Let's hope his role going forward is significantly reduced, because that guy is a JOKE.

Mark May was terrible, and the shtick with Holtz got tiresome very fast. But before Mark May there was Trev Alberts and Skip Bayless who called the 2002 Buckeyes the "Luckeyes" all season long.

I think there will always be a troll on ESPN for the OSU fans. I think anytime you get a good team and a passionate fan base it leads to that.

I hope that ESPN is moving away from that type of journalism. There seems to be fewer of those "types" right now, at least on the college football side.

Is the Big 12 going to dissolve? Colin Cowherd seems to think so with OU going to the SEC and UT going to the PAC Whatever.

Ugh, not again with this 16 team silliness.

FSU's backup QB did a nice job ending his career before it started. Smacking a woman at a bar will do that for you.

And they have video. Of course, this being Tallahassee, he'll get off with a slap on the wrist.

If it were Les Miles he would have let the team vote him back on the team.

There is no defense for what this kid did. Hitting a woman like that shows you the character of the kid. While there is nothing Jimbo Fisher could have done to stop this, how about telling your 18 year old QB to stay out of bars.

They only dumped him because the video became public, similar to the NFL and Ray Rice.

Hopefully people don't fall for this "he was provoked by racial epithets" defense. Even if it's true. That's not license to do what he did.

You know what I don't get; these 18-22 year old kids get in trouble and they hire a high priced lawyer to get them out of it. How do they afford these lawyers? Winston, I can understand since he was definitely going to get paid by an NFL team but this guy wasn't even a starter and he got kicked off the team. If he's off the team, no incentive for a booster to pay his legal fees. I don't see much of a potential pro future for this guy either.

The attorneys probably take these kinds of cases pro bono for the publicity.

There is no truth to the rumor that Louisville coach Bobby Petrino called D'Andre Johnson just after the video was released to offer a scholarship.

Not sure FSU is going to have anyone left.

Jimbo banning his team from going to bars. Because of course, that was the problem here...
