Pros and cons of batting Hamilton 8th and the pitcher 9th?

Pro: He would most likely never be walked so that they can get to the pitcher for an easy out.

You sure they're one of the top defensive clubs in MLB this season? We're 1/3 of the way through the season -- not exactly a small sample size.

Plus, a lot of times errors are not given when they should be. In the Cleveland series, there was a ground ball hit right at Votto that he botched, and it was ruled a hit because of the homer Indians official scorer.

Truthfully I didn't get worked up much about last night because I decided to do something else with my night. Much easier to ignore those losses when you haven't just invested 3 hours into them. I walked out of a movie and turned on the radio to hear the Chapman HR and I just shook my head and turned on music. Once they lost just had the bar turn the TV to hockey. I just got lucky I didn't watch last night.

It's the "system" on the trivia and the "food talk". If not for those 2 things, I'd agree with you. But those two things just drive me bonkers.

Just thought of a 3rd thing. How excited he calls a strike three against the Reds hitters. :(

I actually heard an NPR story earlier this week where a historian said if Hitler had been stopped after Czechoslavakia, say, and the Holocaust and WW II had never come about, he would be remembered as a rather effective leader who ended up badly, and would probably still be popular in Germany. Commentary from a legitimate academic on a legitimate national radio station.

I guess Marge was before her time.

I'll have to remember that line of thinking for my next work performance review. "Look boss, I made some mistakes this year. But now, imagine that I didn't... Base my raise on that." :p
