There are 3 or 4 posters here who do nothing but show up at the end of games the Reds are losing to bash Price. You know who they are.

He also did the same thing with Pittsburgh. In both cases he was significantly better then the guy he replaced.

He also did the same thing with Pittsburgh. In both cases he was significantly better then the guy he replaced.
His Pittsburgh stint was only a month's worth of games and a 12-14 record, really nothing to gleam from it. The Reds 41-39 indicated a solid performance, but I just never got the idea of "Ooooo 2 games over .500, gotta keep this guy around for good". I did feel as though he had earned himself a look somewhere and was surprised he never got one, but I don't blame the Reds at all for finally putting an end to the Miley-Narron-Mackanin interim carousel and hiring Dusty.

Plus he unleashed the 'Phillips batting cleanup, Dunn bats 5th' monster on us.

Is it just me or does a good chunk of the Reds lineup seam to be heating up? If not just ignore me, but frazier and Phillips are on career tears, and Votto is coming back around. I enjoy these Reds again.

Yep. He's given up some hard hit balls, but he's POUNDING the zone. I love it. 55 pitches. 41 strikes, 14 balls. That's bringin' it.

To be fair to the ump, I don't think he realized what was going on until Billy was sliding home. He was telling Ruiz it was ball 4.
