With an extra inning game that lasted until midnight last night and two games today, I expect that every position player will start at least one game. Look for Bruce, Byrd, Peņa, and DeJesus to start in Game 2.

In all seriousness, that may have a chance to be on some mythical top 10 list of all time starting OF combos for least combined slugging.

The combined career SLG for this afternoon's #Reds OF is .352, which is also Pokey Reese's career SLG.

yeah, saw that from Joel a minute ago on twitter - would love to see starting OFs in the last 50 years for any one game as SLG - challenged as today's is. This is really quite a moment for us all to savor.

That was just a beautifully pitched ballgame by Leake.

I may be in the minority...but I still want us to extend Leake.

If it was a $10 million AAV, I'd be down.

Leake put on his big boy pants and gave them 8 when they needed it most. Great job by the offense.

If only the Reds had Bryant'd Leake.

Of course Leake is no Bryant...but there's no way a first rounder starts his service time on Opening Day if I'm in charge.

Sign Mikey and JC. Trade everybody else. Well, maybe keep Chappie.
