Glad to see this here--I'd given up and was starting a thread.

I'm watching the Randy Johnson number retirement that's delaying the game on Arizona FSA. Maybe Johnson can talk to Aroldis about starting.

That's what it looks like to my, admittedly, untrained eye. Mid 90's fastball, decent slider, maybe pick up a cutter. Reds need several arms just like that in the pen. But hey, I'd leave him starting until he's forced out by better options.

Sadly no, just commenting on how Keyvius has parents who support him and adding "that seems like a rare things these days, having both of those people in your life" or something along those lines.

Of course, hasn't his atomic bomb dad been married a couple of different times? Just a weird comment from a weird man.

On a lark I started Iglesias in a one dollar Fanduel league last night and won a little money. I thought 'why not' tonight and started Key (along with Suarez and BP) in a two dollar league. I'm in second right now, coming in at $30. The guy in first also started Key, Suarez, and BP. I started Goldschmidt; he started Chris Davis.

I think he was right but also wrong. I never doubted that he was right about Jumbo's strikeout ability, but while it is likely the decreasing HR rate is his luck evening out, I think sending him down to Louisville was good for his confidence and may have helped him learn how to limit the meatballs. RMR's argument was that it made no sense at all to send Jumbo to Louisville, and in that regard I think he was wrong. He was struggling and he had options, sending him down made perfect sense.

Tonight's "Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game" is Keyvius Sampson, who pitched 6 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits with 4 K's to earn his first major-league win!

(Honorable mention to Eugenio Suarez, whose two-run homer snapped a 30-inning team scoreless streak. But the Old Lefthander would definitely go with a young pitcher who picked up his first victory!)
