Review of FA to be Brett Anderson's performance this year:

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/08/free-agent-stock-watch-brett-anderson.html

Anderson has, nonetheless, proven to be a bargain for the Dodgers. Thus far, he has a 3.43 ERA, 6.1 K/9 and 2.5 BB/9. He’s also pitched 128 2/3 innings. If someone had told you before the season that the Dodgers would have an injury-riddled rotation, you probably would have assumed Anderson would be one of the culprits, but he hasn’t missed a start all season (although he left one July outing early with a minor Achilles injury).

Even better, Anderson has posted an exceptional 65.8 percent ground ball rate, a ridiculously high number that makes him very likely to have at least modest success as long as he’s healthy and has a competent infield defense behind him. Anderson’s ground ball rate is the best among qualified MLB starters, with Dallas Keuchel, Tyson Ross, Gio Gonzalez and Felix Hernandez following him in the top five. That’s strong company, even if Anderson doesn’t strike out as many batters as those other four do.

At some point runners are going to stop falling for it and he's gonna have to raise the stakes. I fully expect at some point in the future that Cespedes will tie a blindfold over his eyes while chasing down a ball in the outfield.

My aunt's ice cream shop. Michael's Ice Cream....across from court house. Been in business since 1911 and was 4 term Governor of Ohio James A Rhodes first job.Wow. I've been to the courthouse there and never noticed. But to tell you the truth, we used to head over your way to buy beer since beer was only 3.2% in WV. My best buddies were from Huntington and went to Marshall. I used to travel over to Jackson where we could buy Heilemann Special Export and a couple of others Like...I can't remember. I'll be up there on Tuesday. Not.

By the way, I met Gov Rhodes one year in Charleston when he came down for our Governor's inauguration.

Chocolate sauce, 3 scoops of French vanilla ice cream, marshmallow topping and fresh roasted crushed nuts roasted fresh every morning in the 100+ year old peanut roaster.

DeJesus couldn't decide whether or not to dive for that ball and Kelch made it a little better by calling him Diaz.

One thing I like about these blowout type games is that the managers don't feel the need to review stuff

Tonight's "Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game" is Dodgers 1B Adrian Gonzalez, who was 2-for-4 with a HR.

The best PH in the world is 0 for his last 8 as a pinch-hitter and 2 for his last 16 at the skill he has mastered.

But he is up to .208 on the season with a .571 OPS

Well great, I'm an idiot.. I was sure there was a reasonable explanation, I'm just a deviant and look for any reason I can to work in an Arrested Development reference.

I just realized this dude blocked me on Twitter the other day just for responding "ress" to his tweet of

"#ress lineup:
Phillips 4, Suarez 6, Votto 3, Frazier 5, Byrd 9, De Jesus Jr. 7, Pena 2, Holmberg LHP, Hamilton 8"

What a baby.

Holmberg is just painful to watch. Even Scully was having hard time with him. I went to bed in the third inning. No use trying to killy myself watching this.
