Gotta give Skip a chance to play, see what he's got. How else is a young player supposed to develop?

Bruce fifth is probably the only guy in the correct spot here... #FyreBryan

Even more than not having Duvall get at-bats I can't believe they'll still let Schumaker play the outfield after the way he destroyed John Lamb's line against Milwaukee and helped the Brewers win the game with what he calls defense.

With a big game 12 year gritty vet Skip Schumaker can catch Johnathan Schoop in career HR

Tom Servo

Disco got ahead of Carpenter 0-2 but a few curveballs missed and he ended up lining a leadoff double to the gap. And now Piscotty with a little flare to right.

Heyward lines one just over a leaping Suarez (playing in for a double play), 1-0 Cardinals.

20 pitches and Disco still doesn't have an out, might be a long day for the bullpen.

Gets Reynolds to K, but now has to face Brandon Moss who has tagged him this year.

I almost rather the Reds didn't spend money to get a LF for next year, and instead paid Verducci whatever he wanted to be their announcer.

Disco fell behind Moss 3-0 and ends up striking him out, very well done.

Strikes out Wong for K #3, very impressive recovery.

Nice job by Disco to put out the Disco Inferno he created with the first 4 batters.

Disco pitched well that whole inning. Cards just did a good job making good contact on good pitches. Gotta love that bounce back to strike out the side.

DeSclafani strikes out the side, except for the parts of the side he didn't strike out.

The correct answer to Marty's trivia question is 5.

The question: How many ballparks in which Pete Rose played a regular-season or postseason game are still in use?

Answer:
Wrigley Field
Dodger Stadium
Oakland Coliseum (1972 World Series)
Fenway Park (1975 World Series)
Kaufman Stadium (1980 World Series)

Glad Skippy got the homer. His skills have declined, but he's been a solid major league back up for his career. Seems to be well respected and played in lots of big games.

Would be interesting if the Cards slip into the wild card spot. After such a dominant season by them.
