Nice 3 hit game last night Duvall, but we gotta get Skip in there since it's the last game in St.L.

I'm never going to understand the idea of getting Skip this much playing at this point in the season.

I actually get starting Skip today against his old team. It's classy.

It's the 38 other starts I have a problem with.

Is there a chance that Skip retires after this season?

Does anybody think the Reds will pick up his option next year? 2.5 million or the 500k buyout. I, personally, would be shocked if they picked it up.

I wouldn't be shocked: "He's leading the league in pinch hits this year!"

Votto puts his hands on an umpire again, this hotheaded maniac needs to be kicked out of baseball.

Ball 1 should be strike 1
Bot 1 Finnegan vs Carpenter

Finnegan's first pitch, smh.

Six-month suspension, for sure.

I was going to assume an assault and battery charge.

7 pitch inning for Finnegan in the first with a K, nicely done.

Votto will begin serving his six-month suspension in two weeks.

Finnegan looks great against first 5 batters but...

he leaves a fastball up on Grichuk and he hits it out. 1-0 Cards.

Pitiful "scouting" or plan on the high target and pitch selection to Grichek.

Tom Servo

Crap. A leadoff walk to Cruz, a strikeout of Lynn, but Carpenter terrorizes the Reds again. 2 run HR to right. 3-0 Cards.

now a single by Pham and a double by Holliday, 4-0 Cards.

Kelch just made me spit on my phone lol....Skip ain't coming back as a Cardinals player and getting a warm reception from Reds fans lol

All those gold gloves and yet the Cardinals are in first. Go figure.

BTW, I'm really thinking the Cardinals' secret is getting as many players in their 27-29 year range to supplement their solid players like Heyward and Holliday. Tommy Pham is the latest.

Cards fans like seeing Skip in the Reds lineup.

Actually, I kind of like Skip, as RedsZone whipping boys go.

I like Skip except for when the manger decides he should play before the 13th inning.

It's safe to say that was the longest and hardest hit HR of Peter Bourjos' career. Congrats Jumbo

It's a sad state of affairs when Jumbo is considered a viable option out of the bullpen. Same with Bannister. I know this is a lost season, but to play into embarrassment is hard to watch. The kids must learn, but this club has fodder by the numbers.
