It's my wife and my last game of the season. Bittersweet as always. I'm sure that we have not seen a winning game since the All Star break. But I'm reminded about how folks we met at the game in Great Falls, Montana who were so envious that we live just six miles from the ballpark and can go to major league games so easily. Count my blessings.

But, boy, I'd like just this one win.

I'm still sticking with 63-99 on the season. In 50 years as a fan, only one season was worse and they actually played better with no superstars in the lineup. This will be 11 in a row. In Lester's career me had 110 plate appearances before that AB. In those 110 trips to the plate, he had 1 hit and 3 walks. Lester was due.
