No #Reds lineup posted yet. Price said he may give Votto a day. Phillips is OK. Price: “He was a little gassed after Met series."
Mark Sheldon ‏@m_sheldon 10m10 minutes ago

#reds have yet to post a lineup. I expect they are waiting to see how Votto and Frazier are feeling first.

Cubs
LF Schwarber
CF Jackson
3B Bryant
1B Rizzo
2B Castro
RF Soler
SS Russell
C Ross
SP Lester

I have heard the Schwarber might be a local kid, hopefully they can give some details during the broadcast.

Little point in watching if no Votto.

It's my wife and my last game of the season. Bittersweet as always. I'm sure that we have not seen a winning game since the All Star break. But I'm reminded about how folks we met at the game in Great Falls, Montana who were so envious that we live just six miles from the ballpark and can go to major league games so easily. Count my blessings.

But, boy, I'd like just this one win.

Wow -- I have NOT been paying much attention to the games this year ---- I see this guy Holt listed as the CF and I had to look him up because I could not recall ever seeing his name --- and I find out he's had 21 AB's -- fanning 9 times ----

I knew I was trying to drink this summer away but jeeesh

======

Now I feel better - I learn that those AB's were not with the Reds ---- back to the bottle with confidence

I don't think he's had any ab's with the Reds. This is his debut with us IIRC.

Tyler Holt with a flare single in his first AB as a Redleg.

Also Thom apparently couldn't be bothered to look at the updated lineup before the game or pay attention to the graphic on-screen which indicated that Holt was batting 2nd.

I don't know why I have the game on, to tell the truth. I look up at the score once in awhile because I know it's hopeless. I can't imagine how bad the games in Pittsburgh will be. I'm still sticking with 63-99 on the season. In 50 years as a fan, only one season was worse and they actually played better with no superstars in the lineup. This will be 11 in a row. Heads need to roll over this.

In Lester's career me had 110 plate appearances before that AB. In those 110 trips to the plate, he had 1 hit and 3 walks. Lester was due.
