Even though this season has been depressing, I will miss watching the Reds play pretty soon.

Hopefully, the playoffs will be entertaining this year.

Votto basically needs to reach base 2 more times than Harper today to win the OB% title.

He's also fighting the 1.000 OPS line....one hit should keep him above for the season

A Reds announcer is blatantly wrong yet again.

My favorite Thom Brennaman mistake is when he was saying how McCutchen has really struggled this season with RISP.. right as he was saying that, a graphic came up on the screen showing that he leads MLB in batting average with RISP..

Not so sure of this. He can throw 4 pitches in the strikezone.

Not so much throwing in the strikezone in the majors (6.6 BB/9) and when he does they are often hit (11.0 H/9).

Best case scenario is Pedro Villarreal style long-man. We have one of those. I'd cut Smith loose, at least off the 40 Man.

The Reds must have the worst pitchers against batting average in the whole of the Major leagues this season.

Tom Servo

On the rare instances Reds pitchers do get the bunt down, the opposition throws out the lead runner.

I particularly enjoyed the one from the first series of the season where he said Neal Walker met Roberto Clemente when he was a kid.

Nice try, George. Maybe you should do some research.

Happ is a good example of what the Pirates are doing with their pitching staff. He was a FB pitcher, and struggling. They brought him over, taught him to be a GB pitcher, and he's doing well. I wish the Reds would take a similar philosophy, especially considering GABP.

I don't know what kind of ads some people get here at RedsZone, but right now I've got an ad for flights to Bangalore starting at $797.

First, is that a good deal? (Seems like it would be.)

Second, why would I want to go to Bangalore?!

Another season is done. Another mark in time for me as I will be 53 about the time the next season starts. I won't miss this season at all. One of the worst I have experienced as a Reds fan. I watched until the bitter end yesterday even though my MLBTV was truly horrible yesterday. Very glitchy and finally had to resort to watch on my Kindle. But as the winter grows long I will be eager for a new season to start even though 2016 has the potential to be as bad as this season.

I can accept bad seasons. It's part of the ebb and flow. But this team quit. At least from my vantage point they did. And that is unacceptable. I hope they clean house.
