OK, it's early. But I'd still like to see more Schebler, especially with a DH.

Malcontent: The cock of the walk, baby!

Raisor: And if Malcontent wants more Schebler, we should probably give him more Schebler!

The MLB Network will have a replay of this game at 6 am tomorrow morning. Getting up at 6 am to watch a replay of a spring training game is the real test of a true Reds fan. Who is going to do it?

Salazar was a little wild in the first. Dejesus lined a good pitch to LF sandwiched between 2 walks to Cave and Votto. Phillips with a deep SF with the bases loaded advanced all the runners. After a mound visit Salazar made Bruce look sill but then threw a low fastball over the center of the plate which Duvall lined up the middle to plate Votto/Cave. Another K to end the inning.

Missed the bottom of 1st because Descalfani worked too quick. Top of the 2nd Salazar came back with a vengeance and struck out the side, his change up was mighty impressive there. Bottom of the 2nd and another quick inning from Des. With a good play at 3rd by Blandino

Sanchez pitched for the Reds and we're all still here? I was led to believe that Armageddon would happen if he pitched for the Reds.

Well, he did walk another guy in his 2nd inning, but he got the next guy to hit into a double play. 2 scoreless frames.

Just checked out the videos on mlb.com.

Blandino made a fine diving grab going to his left. He got up and gunned down the runner.

Tucker Barnhart with a serious TOOTBLAN. What was he thinking? Hatcher was pointing to the third base bag, and yelling 'No, no, no!' Barnhart had his head down, and looked like he was out for a Sunday morning jog. LOL.

He's issuing a correction. He said yesterday that the Indians used 7 pitchers on Tuesday. They actually used 8.

Boxscore says that Wallach (either Chad or Eli--sounds like it was ugly) did catch and LaValley is the only guy other than the Votto who played first.

If the Reds can score nine runs a game this might just be a fun season. Reds are now 2-0-1 in spring training. Has anyone ever gone undefeated in the spring?
