Schebler will probably hit 4 homers today and steal 7 bags.

So you're saying he'll have a bad game?

And three more threads will pop up on ORG sending him to AAA because he has options so we can keep OFers who suck.

Wound up at 2.2 innings, 5 hits, 1 BB, and 2 K. Arenado took him deep.

Curious about the 2nd inning with three singles, wondering if they were sharply hit base knocks or dinks and dunks or bad D or what.

Gameday showed the three singles as sharp groundballs and a flyball to LF...guessing a blooper.

When it struck ground it appears to have rejuvenated north american plate tectonics and continental drift.

Carlos Gonzales was 30 years old when the ball landed. He will be missed.

I went away for an hour and the Rockies haven't blown it open yet. What gives?

Reds win 5-4 with Steve Johnson doing his best Codero imitation by walking the first two he faced--8 straight balls-- walking another (3),getting a groundout, allowing a sac fly and a popout to end the game. He gets the save, showing what a worthless stat that is. Schebler was 2-3 with an RBI and sounded good because there was no TV. Kelch kept saying Johnson was nowhere near the strike zone. This season will be an adventure and that's another reason to watch.

Wouldn't that make you the Exalted Overlord of Raisoria? That's not a bad consolation prize.

I would turn it into the New York City of "Escape from New York".

Chip would be Kurt Russell, but unlike the movie he would lose.

I love the absurdity of Snake casually turning the electricity off across the globe and then walking away smoking a cig in Escape from LA.

Also, the Peter Fonda/Snake Pliskin surfing scene.

I choose to believe that Escape from LA never existed, except for Bruce Campbell

But it has the greatest scene in movie history:
