It's super early, but Jagielo doesn't look as bad at 3B as the scouting reports have said. They made it seem like he was Johnny Benchesque at 3B, but he looks to be at least comfortable there.

That’s 3 IP for Reed. 1 H. 4 Ks. Has the press box buzzing, that’s for sure

Three shutout innings for Reed so far. Just one measly hit, no walks, and 4 strikeouts.

So who can do the math on what date when the Reds can bring Reed up and not cost a year of control? He has to avoid accruing 172 days.

Peraza is 2-2 with 2 singles and a stolen base.

My rough math puts it around April 14? That seems to early though. Oct 2 is the last regular season game. So he can only have 171 days in the major this year to avoid super 2 is what you are saying?

I believe it would push his eventual free agency back a year, I'm basing the numbers on the stuff with Kris Bryant from last year.

So it seems April 16th would be 12 days into the season.

Peraza is the absolute worst!

Blake Wood has been pretty miserable in spring so far, giving him a major league deal might have been a mistake. But Chris O'Grady bounced back from his meltdown the other day with a scoreless frame.

Carlos Contreras the latest reliever to have a disasterpiece outing, allowing 3 singles and a grand slam. He's someone I would boot off the 40 man and see if you can keep in the organization with low expectations.

Peraza is the absolute worst!

Peraza's proving that a hit is as good as a walk.

He seems to have a number of steals so far this spring, as well.

In 2013, Jagielo playing for three teams had 376 innings and a total of 3 errors. Playing 3B in Rookie ball and the NYPL.

That error total was much higher the last two seasons.

But somehow he had a low error season in 2013, he must have some ability to field the ball cleanly.

This bullpen could set records for futility. Gracious.
