Probably not any more than AJ Morris, just a warm body.

Next to last game in Arizona. They head to Indy for a game Saturday and then it all begins.

With two outs Votto singles, BP doubles, and Suarez works a walk to juice the bases for Duvall (using Muse as his walk-up music).

Duvall strikes out swinging on a high fastball, surprising since that seems to be his bread and butter.

There are 35 guys left on the roster. 10 cuts need to be made.

Why in God's name is Juan Duran starting over Yorman or Schebler? (Duran has had a terrific ST, but he's starting an 80 game suspension in about 5 days)

I mean c'mon man!

Duvall strikes out but he really looks confident at the plate. Dude swings the bat with authority.

I mean c'mon man!I was thinking the same thing and figured I was just dumb and must have had Duran confused with the guy who was suspended. Guess it's not me that's dumb, it's Price.

Josh Smith is wearing #69 today. Nice.

2 impressive scoreless innings so far for Smith. I wish the #69 Josh Smith I'm seeing today had showed up last season instead of that guy who couldn't throw strikes to save his life. Maybe he was pressing too much last season in his first big league experience?

Not saying it isn't Price doing it, but why Price and not the front office that hasn't reassigned him yet?

Didn't it come out that he was hurt most of last year?

Maybe. I honestly don't think the Reds have any idea what to do with him. He's not young, but pitched well at AA and decent at AAA. Not beating the doors down, but could get some K's and keep guys off the bases.

Be nice if he can do this for about a month in Cincinnati.

Wait a minute, Juan Duran is wearing #69 today as well. Who is the real #69 man?

Maybe they are getting an extra year because of the suspension and want to see if he's worth keeping. He's certainly been playing like he wants it.

Say what you want about BP - I'm glad he stuck around.

Votto went 4 - 4 before being lifted for Pacheco.

I'd take that everyday from him.

Hamilton had a double and a triple. So far on the spring, he's hit four doubles and two triples.

He's had 8 total hits.

Obviously, he's destined to slug .500 and IsoP .200.
