I notice that the lettering on the Reds uniform is a solid dark color, without that crinkly white outline. I think this is easier to read.

No, they're just the regular uniform, except everything is pink instead of red. Also, it is trimmed in black or navy to add contrast. (Pink and white doesn't contrast well.)

He had to warm up on the game mound because of the injury to Lamb. Chris Welsh mentioned that pitchers often rush their warmup in that situation, because they feel like they're holding up the game.

We get Reds game feed out here on Maui infrequently, and today was the day to watch -- and this is the result........I'm going beach - IN DAH RAIN !! About the only pleasure I am getting in watching these really predictable defeats ....is that the owner/GM/Mgr/coaches get to FEEL DAH PAIN MORE !! I feel for the players who depend on this very poor bullpen pitching to get a win and enjoy the game ......These constant defeats - FOR YEARS NOW...are tuff to endure.. I guess
those HUGE PAYCHECKS help tho.... I know it is the nature of this wonderful game - but the REDS sure seem to be SNAKEBIT in injuries and poor player developement and strained budgets the last 4-5 yrs.... GO REDS GO !!
