With the Ohio Cup clinched, does Francona sit his starters tonight?

http://m.mlb.com/news/article/20160518178876948?game_pk=447476

The Reds and Indians will wrap up the annual Ohio Cup series on Thursday with Cincinnati rookie Tim Adleman squaring off against Cleveland right-hander Josh Tomlin, who is looking to lead the Tribe to a four-game sweep.

Tomlin (5-0, 3.82 ERA) is coming off three straight starts of at least six innings pitched. In his last outing against the Twins, Tomlin fell victim to the long ball, allowing four runs on three home runs.
...
• Three of the Reds' most productive hitters this season, Jay Bruce, Zack Cozart and Brandon Phillips, have had quite a bit of success against Tomlin. Over the last five seasons, the three are a combined 11-for-27 against the right-hander with one home run and four RBIs.

I hope Adleman will be pitch efficient and the Reds offense can light up the scoreboard. A win sure would feel good right about now..

Probably quite a few from Central Ohio. It's always fun and interesting to see your favorite team as the visiting team in the opponent's ballpark. It really is incredible how many guys the Reds can get who either have pitched well in the majors before (Cingrani, Hoover, Delabar, Ohlendorf) or the minors (Cotham, Diaz, Somsen) and they all just god awful. Not below average, like a 4.00 or 5.00 ERA, but like 7.00 ERA or worse.

So, if Adelman has to be DL-ed, who's next in the barrel? Josh Smith? Moscot? Mo Sanford?

At least he was a viable MLB pitcher at one time, which puts him one up on most of the current crew.

I figure they will call up Hayes or Somsen to have an extra pitcher in the bullpen until Adleman's turn in the rotation comes back around, and then they will activate Moscot if he's ready. If he isn't, then they will probably call up Smith.

That's kind of tricky, seeing few different teams

1894 Boston 1220?

That's the biggest offensive season ever, 2nd year of the mound being 60 feet away, right in the transition from 2 pitchers a staff to 3 and 4. A lot of teams were slow in changing, the hitters took full advantage, gloves were also new so hits were easier. Hugh Duffy had a 1.200 Ops and hit .440
