Seems to be the growing trend. Like it with black and bright colors (Florida State has had them for a few years and their helmets looks good). The Dodger blue didn't work, imho.

Seriously we need realignment. The Rockies need to be in the Reds division. It is a shame to only visit here once a year

In 1993, they were. Both clubs were in the NL West in the final season of the two-division format.

It's the latest fad, like black was in the 90's. I'm afraid it is inevitable that the Reds will eventually follow suit with the matte finish. :(
